During the 1st Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), organized by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA), the Special Jury Prize and the Best Actor Award for actor Mohsen Tanabandeh were awarded to “World War III”.
Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), scheduled to be held from May 9th -13th 2023, is organized by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) in coordination with Da Nang City People’s Committee as well as other relevant agencies.
Mohsen Tanabandeh, Mahsa Hejazi, Neda Jebraeili are among the cast members of the film. Also, Navid Nosrati is another actor of the film who attended the festival and received the awards.
This is the 36th time for “World War III” to take part in an international film festival and the achievement is considered the 18th international award as well.
After being cast in a movie, a day laborer has to secretly shelter his lover on the set or else risk losing her and all that movie stardom has promised him, according to the plot summary of "World War III".
