Iranian feature film “The Locust” directed by Faezeh Azizkhani will vie at the Competition section of the festival, competing with seven other films from Austria, Canada, France, China, Spain, Japan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Another Iranian feature film “Killing the Eunuch Khan” directed by Abed Abest will be screened at Frame Extended section of the festival.
Iranian short film “Identibye” directed by Sajad Shahhatami will vie at the Short Competition section of the event.
Split Film Festival or Split International Festival of New Film, is one of the oldest film and video festivals in Croatia that showcases new, creative, personal, radical works of all styles, themes, genres and lengths, whether film, or new media, preferably from outside the mainstream.
The 27th edition of Split Film Festival will be held September 1-9, 2022 in Croatia.
