Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center will hold a program titled ‘Iranian Cypress’ to commemorate Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and resistance martyrs from January 3 to 7.

The program will include the symbolic planting of a cypress and opening a visual arts exhibition, IRNA wrote.

The exhibition will feature painting, photography, poster, and calligraphy on the theme of resistance martyrs.

Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were assassinated in a US airstrike in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on January 3, 2020.
