Cinema
-Asghar Farhadi, who directed the Oscar winner 'A Separation', will preside over the jury for the International Feature Film.
-The Iranian animation 'Lopeto' has made it to the 10th Universal Kids Film Festival in Istanbul, Turkey.
- Iranians celebrated National Cinema Day across the country to mark the anniversary of the introduction of the art in the country.
-Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) in Iran has revealed the official poster for its 2022 edition.
-The memorial ceremony of Babak Barzoye, the late cinema and theater photographer, was held at the Iran Artists House.
-The behind-the-scenes photos of the short films of 21 filmmakers were exposed to the public at the "Memory Frames" exhibition.
Visual Arts
-Two Iranian teenagers were among the winners of the UNEP Art Competition in the Asia-Pacific region.
- At the same time as the publication of the book "Raz Derakhshan" in Berlin, metallic glaze pottery workshop was held with the presence of Abbas Akbari.
-Ashurai curtain painting workshop will be held on the eve of Arbain in Bagh Honar.
-The opening ceremony of the "Photo 5" international festival was held in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan, Tehran Fuka and the artist's career magazine at the Cinematheque of the Museum of Contemporary Arts.
- An exhibition of Mohsen Gol Mohammadzadeh's calligraphy works titled "Love and Drunkenness" was held at the Niavaran Cultural Center.
Theater
-"The Cage" written and directed by Mohammad Hatami has gone on stage Hafez Theater Hall.
-The show "Swords" directed by Amir Hossein Ghafari is on stage at Tehran City Theater until 29 September.
-Accepted shows were introduced in the outdoor section of the 19th Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival.
-48 shows compete in different sections of the 19th Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival.
-The weekly meeting of the National Center of Iranian Theater Critics was held in Iranshahr Theater with the presence of Reza Ashfete and Babak Faraji.
-Iranshahr Theater Audience Club was launched with the aim of creating special facilities for theater audiences.
Music
-Iranian conductor and composer Ali Rahbari was invited to perform at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) in Türkiye on October 7.
-Simultaneously with the International Day of Peace and the beginning of the Sacred Defense Week, the 7th Memorial of Peace, Resistance, Hope was opened in the Azadi Cultural and Art Complex of Tehran.
-The album "Bose Bar Mah" composed and sung by Hossamuddin Siraj was released in the music center of the art field.
-Hamid Alizadeh, a young singer, published his latest work "Koi Dost" on the occasion of Hosseini's Arbaeen.
-The headquarters of the 15th Iranian Music Festival published a call for artists to participate in this musical event.
-The registration for the first stage of the 16th National Youth Music Festival has started in the BAMAC system.
Culture and Literature
-Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili in his Tuesday meeting with visiting Syrian Culture Minister Lubanah Mshaweh at Tehran Vahdat Hall reviewed ways for the two countries’ cultural, artistic, media, and joint theatrical and cinematographic cooperation to be expanded, as well as sharing Iranian artists’ experiences with the Syrian side.
-“Nightwork”, a novel by American writer Irwin Shaw, has come to Iranian bookstores.-
-Tehran and the central Iranian city of Kashan hosted to a month-long Japanese cultural festival entitled ''Japan Culture Month''.
-Shahriar's commemoration ceremony will be held by Iranian cultural consultancy and Saadi Foundation representative in Ankara.
