Iran’s National Orchestra will stage a concert titled ‘Isfahan to Florence’ at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on June 16 and 17. The two-day performance will be conducted by Nima Keshavarzi.

‘Mourning Letter,’ composed by Reza Vali, violin solo program by Maziar Zahireddini, ‘Persian Pictures,’ composed by Heshmat Sanjari, ‘Prelude Sinfonico’ by Giacomo Puccini, and ‘Turandot Suite’ by Ferruccio Busoni will be staged at the program.

In 1998, some high-ranking authorities and the officials in charge of the Music Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance interested in music, formed Iran’s National Orchestra.
