IBNA quoted the press office of the 33rd Tehran International Book Fair as saying that these 475,000 copies have been purchased in the form of 225,000 packages. Also, the National Post Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran has so far delivered 50,000 packages for free to the buyers of the virtual section of the book fair, the report added.

Due to severe air pollution in Tehran, the book fair closed on Tuesday.

The 33rd edition of the international fair opened last Tuesday in physical and online formats.

The exhibition is hosting 170 foreign and 1,700 domestic publishers.
