The director of the company Saeed Khani announced that a contract for the domestic distribution of the film was signed and the company is preparing for the film’s vast screening across the country.

Khani announced that it is expected that the cinematic production will be ready for public screening in the upcoming fall.

Farhadi’s latest film will experience its first international screening at the Competition section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival in France.

Professional Iranian actors Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh, Nader Shahsavari, Fereshteh Sadre-Orafaee, and Sarina Farhadi star in ‘A Hero’.

Although the story for the new movie has been kept under wraps, it has been disclosed to the media that the film will be suspenseful just like Farhadi’s other works such as ‘A Separation’ and ‘The Salesman’.

The world sales of ‘A Hero’ began by Paris-based Memento Films International in February during the European Film Market in Berlin.

Memento Films International, the French production and sales outfit that has collaborated with Farhadi on three of his films (‘The Salesman,’ ‘A Separation,’ and ‘Everybody Knows’), shopped the project to buyers in Berlin, circulating an English-language version of Farhadi’s original Farsi script.

Three works of Farhadi – ‘The Past,’ ‘The Salesman’ and ‘Everybody Knows’ – have been screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
