London Saqi Books publication has been brought out a book on Koorosh Shishegaran an Iranian abstract painter.

Shishegaran's book titled " Koorosh Shishegaran: The Art of Altruism" has been edited by Hamid Keshmirshekan an Iranian Writer in 306 pages.

In the first part of the book after introduction some articles by Hamid Dabashi an Iranian Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia University in New York City, David Galloway an American novelist, curator, journalist, renowned art historian Hamid Keshmirshekan, art expert Alireza Sami-Azar and professor of Art History at California State University Abbas Daneshvari have been included.

The Second section of the book depicts several Shishegaran's artworks including Art+Art (he believes that whatever in the world is a form of art), Mail Art or post art (He used the post as an instrument to communicate with people. In addition, the book's goal is to provide a comprehensive look to Koorosh Shishegaran's art, life and notable achievements of Shishegaran in the history of Iranian contemporary art.

Shishegaran was born in Qazvin in 1944. Shishegaran’s ability to humanize abstraction and bring three dimensions into his canvases and through the brush strokes and colours, make him one of the most expressive and emotive artists of the contemporary Iranian art movement.
