The first Persian translation of the novel came out last summer. It was translated by Farnaz Teymourazof from an English version of the book, and published by Tehran-based Noon Publication.
More recently, translator Hussein Tehrani brought out the novel in Persian, and was released by Cheshmeh Publication.
Backman's novel about the angry old man next door is a thoughtful exploration of the profound impact one life has on countless others.
