TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) - The Iranian short animation ‘Empty View’ written and directed by Ali Zare-Qanatnowi has been nominated for best animated film at the Asians on Film Festival of Shorts, slated for January 26-27 in Los Angeles.
The film, recently screened internationally, depicts a mother who awaits the long return of her son from the war.
Zare-Qanatnowi has produced and directed more than 14 documentaries, short and feature films as well as animations.
Established in 2010, Asians on Film promotes Asian American minorities in Hollywood.
