Iranian director Mani Haqiqi received the Third Runner-Up award for the best director for his film “A Dragon Arrives” at the 43rd Seattle International Film Festival, which was held in the U.S. city from May 18 to June 11.

Justin Chon from the U.S. received the First Runner-Up award for “Gook” and the Second Runner-Up award went to Philippe van Leeuw from France for “In Syria”.

Rodrigo Grande from Argentina won the Golden Space Needle Award for the best director for his film “At the End of the Tunnel”

“Gholam”, a joint production of Iran and England by Mitra Tabrizian, and “Taste of Cherry” by Abbas Kiarostami went on screen at the festival.
