Directed by Mahmood Arib, the short film won the special mention of the jury, the best writer, and the best design awards, IRNA reported.
The film depicts a man who emigrates without prior notice and his mother refuses to take his calls.
The film has previously scooped several awards from different film festivals, including Ostia International Film Festival in Italy and IntimaLente Ethnographic Film Festive in France.
It has also received Best Film, Best Filmmaking and Best Screenplay awards from FFTG festival 2020 in New York and Best Short Documentary from Berlin Indie Festival 2021.
