The complex consists of music, dramatic arts, visual arts, traditional arts, literature, architecture, and cinema.
It is said that so far the complex has 3,200 cinematic films, 60,000 music files, 12,000 e-books, and 20,000 files in the fields of theater, literature, documentary, calligraphy, painting and sculpture.
Addressing the event, the head of the National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI), Ashraf Boroujerdi, said Iran has invaluable assets in all fields of arts.
She noted that Iranian artists consider art as the manifestation of God’s glory.
In addition, the head of the center, Kamal Sarvestani, said the national record of countries is their identity; investing in the collection, aggregation, preservation, classification, and accessibility of all forms of art will serve future generations.
He added that, on the one hand, Shiraz is a familiar name in Iranian, Islamic and world culture, and, on the other hand, it has the second largest complex of National Library and Archives in Iran, after Tehran.
