Azadi Tower, Tabi’at (Nature) Bridge, and Milad Tower went red to show support and solidarity with HIV patients around the world.

The Azadi tower, located at Azadi Square, is  one of the landmarks of Tehran, marking the west entrance to the city, and is part of the Azadi Cultural Complex, which also includes an underground museum.

Milad Tower is a multi-purpose skyscraper located northwest of Tehran. Milad Tower is the tallest tower in Iran and the sixth tallest telecommunication tower in the world.The tower is a part of the International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran.

World AIDS Day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. Government and health officials all over the world observe the day, often with speeches or forums on AIDS topics.

World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day. Government and health officials all over the world observe the day, often with speeches or forums on AIDS topics.
