The exhibit, which is scheduled to open on September 7, will showcase photos by Abbas Kiarostami, Kamran Shirdel, Majid Barzegar, Nasser Taqvai, Seifollah Samadian, Mahmud Kalari, Hamid Jebelli and Jafar Panahi, the director of Tehran’s CAMA, Mona Khosheqbal, said in a press conference on Sunday.
The exhibition is a sequel to “Passing through Time”, a showcase that Tehran’s CAMA organized earlier in June and July.
Two to four photos from each filmmaker have been selected to be put on display at the exhibition.
Khosheqbal said that the exhibit aims to show other sides of the artists.
Photos by Shirdel from the early days of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 will be displayed for the first time at the exhibition that will run until October 23.
