The exhibit, which opened on August 3 and ran until August 21, displayed a collection of artworks by 182 artists from different generations.
The highest-priced items belonged to veterans including Farideh Lashai, Reza Mafi, Sirak Melkonian, and Faramarz Pilaram. However, lesser known artists sold more works this time, Gallery owner Lily Golestan said in a press release published on Friday.
Morteza Darebaghi, Shamseddin Ghazi and Amir Hesari each sold five works, while Mina Naraqi came in next with four works, and Ali Qahremani, Monireh Qanbari, Parsa Payandeh and Fatemeh Mandegar followed each with three works.
The artworks offered this year included calligraphic paintings, paintings and sculptures.
Golestan has previously said that young artists are happy to display their works alongside those of the great masters, and asked them to create additional professional works for the coming editions of the event.
