TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – “The Stupid Donkey of Gypsies”, Iranian writer Ahmad Heidari-Majd’s novel about the life and traditions of gypsies in Iran, has recently been published in Algeria in Arabic.
Published by Aljazair Taqra, the novel explores the small society of the gypsies living near Tehran and the southern Iranian city of Ahvaz and introduces their traditions, culture and habits.
Heidari-Majd who is also a translator and journalist has previously published several short stories in Arabic newspapers and magazines.
