The group photo exhibition titled ‘Accumulation’ is underway at Silk Road Gallery in Tehran.

Salome Souzanchi, Samira Davarfara, Sahar Mokhtari, Farzin Foroutan and Armin Abdi are the artists whose photographs are on display, Galleryinfo.ir reported.

Idea of the collection was created by searching the thousands of pictures of daily life that exist in different media, and selecting one as a source for the tens of images created; the different media presents a large variety of pictures which intentionally or incidentally are recorded in people’s visual memory and influence it, said an introduction to the exhibit.

In the creation of the works, a visual object has taken subjective dimension, and each of the artists has represented it based on a certain perception after viewing the image.

‘Accumulation’ is the second group exhibition of the five artists together.

The first series of works named ‘Inhale’ was based on the “random images” project and displayed at the same gallery last year.

The exhibition will run till May 25 at the gallery located at No. 210, between Vesal Shirazi St. and 16th Azar St., Keshavarz Blvd.
