The fourth specialized auction of calligraphy, Iranian and Islamic art, Baran auction, will be held at the International Conference Center of Rayzan on Friday, November 9, with the presentation of ninety-four works of art and applied objects.

Mahboubeh Kazemi Doulabi, founder and director of the Baran auction, said in a statement: Every year, this event is dedicated to one of Iran's greatest calligraphy artists. The fourth volume honors Professor Mohammad Hossein Emad Al ketab al-Qazwini's unique position.

Kazemi added: The auction exhibition section, which has been licensed by the two Ministries of Crafts, Cultural Heritage and Tourism and Islamic Guidance, will begin operating on Tuesday, November 21, and will be open to viewers through Thursday.

During this period, seventy-one ancient works, some dating back more than a century, include works from the second century AH to the Timurid, Safavid, Afshari, Zandiyeh to Qajar periods that each reflects the hidden angles of the greatness of Iranian Islamic art, along with twenty-two contemporary works that are prominent examples of the work of established masters as well as established youth are recommended for art lovers.

The fourth auction of Baran begins with a unique collection of calligraphic verses of the holy Quran that go to the auction table continuously that display the glory of Iranian artists' devotion to Islam.

The first work Bird of Bismillah is the brilliant work of Abdolhossein Qazvini that is 134 years old and created with handmade ink on handmade paper and priced from 120 to 150 million Tomans.

The second definitive work of Bismillah is the work of Ahmad Tafreshi, a 136-year-old work that presents a magnificent display of the blessed name of God Almighty on a small piece of paper and is offered for 50 to 60 million Tomans.

Dust-writing verses, the work of Mohammad Jafar Tabrizi with 338 years old is the third work that goes on the auction table and is priced at 150 to 170 million Tooman.

Likewise, the exquisite leaf of the Qur'an with the Kufic script, seven double-sided rows created in the second and third centuries AH with handmade ink on deer skin is priced from 300 to 350 million Tooman, Another leaf of the Qur'an with the fourteen-line Kufic script created in the third and fourth centuries AH is around 70 to 80 million Tooman And a valuable leaf of Qur'an, dated to the 5th and 6th centuries AH, with a two-line Kufic script of is presented for 60 to 70 million Toomans.

Very special five leaves of the Shahnameh that is created with the Nastaliq line in the Timurid period is 500 to 600 million Tooman. Golzar painting line is a dramatic and attractive work by Hassan Zarrin Ghalam, that is 120 years old is around 400 to 500 million Tooman.
