Written in 2006 by French writer Enzo Cormann, ‘The Other’ deals with the issue of identity and its relation with love, ISNA reported. Similar to Rahnama’s previous theatrical works as a director, it is a romantic text with a feminine approach. The cast includes her and Shiva Ordouei, also an actress. Rahnama, 43, holds a master’s degree in dramatic literature. She has acted in 30 movies, including ‘Tambourine’ (2007), ‘St. Petersburg’ (2009), ‘No Men Allowed’ (2010), ‘Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus’ (2010) and ‘Sensitive Level’ (2013). She has also appeared in 15 series, including ‘The Story of a City’ (2000), ‘I’m a Tenant’ (2003), ‘The Man of a Thousand Faces’ (2007) and ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012). Rahnama has acted in 20 plays and directed four theatrical

works so far. Her last play as a director was ‘Shakespeare’s Ladies Gathering’ staged three years ago. Cormann, 64, is the author of about 40 plays, translated and staged in many countries. Also a novelist, he has recently published a trilogy. As a senior lecturer, he teaches at Theater Arts and Techniques Higher National School in Lyon, France.
