The Secretary of the festival Sassan Qajar said that the selection committee reviewed 41 stage productions which were sent to the secretariat of the festival from 19 provinces, according to ILNA.

The selection committee of the festival included Farzan Dolfani, Hamid Ezzati Kolli, Hamidreza Rostamkhani, and Younes Valipour.

Head of the Culture and Islamic Guidance Department of Zanjan Province Amrollah Hassani said, “Pantomime is the first and most basic form of communication without the use of words, through body movements. With body language, we can show the problems of the society and ameliorate them.”

In the Critics Section, the jury members announced ‘Empty Oxygen,’ written and directed by Milad Al-e Abaei, from Hormuzgan Province, as the top winner. ‘Music Player’ by Asghar Mohammadi, from Zanjan Province, also received the plaque of honor of this section.

‘Empty Oxygen’ also received the Special Jury Award of the festival.

The secretary’s special award was given to Rima Pirvali, from Markazi Province, for her role in ‘Fall’.

The festival was held from May 10 to 12.

East Azarbaijan, Zanjan and Markazi provinces each had two works at the festival.
