“King Lear according to Edmund”, “Hamlet according to Horatio”, and “Othello according to Iago” are the plays that will go on stage for one month from May 2, 2018, director Asghar Nuri told the Persian service of MNA on Saturday.
The audience will have a chance to watch the three plays at the theater with only one ticket, he added.
Earlier in July, “King Lear according to Edmund” was performed at the Shakespeare Festival in Tournon-sur-Rhône in southern France.
Shohreh Re’ayati and Meysam Razfar will perform “King Lear according to Edmund”, and Ghazaleh Rashidi and Nuri will play in “Othello according to Iago”.
The cast for “Hamlet according to Horatio” has not been finalized yet, Nuri said.
