-The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Iran's Farabi Cinema Foundation (FCF) agreed to expand their cooperation on children’s films.

-Iranian short fantasy “Don’t Breathe” was picked as best international short film at the Regina International Film Festival and Awards in Canada.

-Director of the Cinema Organization of Iran, Mohammad Khazaei visited Russia to discuss the expansion of ties on film industry.

-United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund -- UNISEF and Iran's Farabi Cinema Foundation will cooperate on a five-year plan to enhance children's film in the country.

-The opening ceremony of the movie "Golden Night" with the presence of actors was held in Kahrizak Charity Foundation. This happened for the first time on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of this institution and was accompanied by the birthday of Behnaz Jafari, one of the actors.



-The call for the "World of Wearable Arts 2023" competition has been published.

-The third "Fardokht" cultural and artistic festival of Kashan, focusing on Iranian Islamic fashion and clothing, will be held while the deadline for submission of works has been announced as 17 September.

-FIMAC 2022 art festival officially opened on August 10 in Italy.

- The exhibition reviewing the works of foreign cartoonists will be held at Iran Cartoon House until mid October.

-The funeral procession of the Renowned Iranian photographer Babak Borzouyeh was held on Friday morning in Behest Zahra.

--Last week, Tehran galleries hosted 12 new exhibitions in various fields of visual arts.



-The play "Meeting the Infernal Man" went restaged in a new form and accompanied by a chamber orchestra led by Mohammad Hassan Haji- Amiri at Niavaran Cultural Center.

-The play "Belly" directed by Reza Pourkariman will restagein Tehran's Mehrab Hall from the last week.

-The Academy of Dramatic Arts of Samandarian started its activity in the field of production of shows.

-Puppet show of "Ashura Opera" written and directed by Behrouz Gharibpour with the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, was staged on Wednesday evening, August 26, at Vahdat Hall.

-The members of the selection committee of the 12th stage and street performances nationwide and the first international period of Sahibdelan Theater were introduced.

-The play "Before Killing" written by Shahram Ahmadzadeh and directed by Arash Dadgar was reviewed on August 24 at the National Center of Theater Critics.

-The call for "National Theater Conference for Teenagers" was published by the Office of Research, Education and Publications of the General Department of Performing Arts.

-The call for the 41st Fajr Theater was published.


Culture and Literature

-''Austria, Prussia and the Making of Modern Germany, 1806-1871'' by John Breuilly, a professor of nationalism and ethnicity at the London School of Economics, has been published in Persian.Translated by Babak Mohaqeq, the book was published by Ney in Tehran.

-Children's book Council of Iran has announced author Jamshid Khanian and illustrator Alireza Golduzian as its nominees for the 2024 Hans Christian Andersen Award.

-Croatian adventurer Ivan Dogic's pictorial book on Iranian children has recently been published in Zagreb, Croatia.

- A Persian translation of American children's writer Vincent Kelly's book ''All People Are Beautiful'' has come to Iranian bookstores.



-The project of Shamim Polymer Factory by Daoud Borojni won the China Design Award 2022.

-The online session "Definition of interior architecture and examination of work routines of interior architecture offices" was held on Wednesday, August 26.
