The winners of the various sections of the 15th National Festival of Young Music were announced at the closing ceremony in Tehran on Thursday evening.The closing ceremony was presented to the audience in the form of an online event from Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.
Music has always been one of the artistic manifestations of societies and nations from the beginning until now and, as effective spiritual rhetoric, it represents the great feelings and spirit of nations.
Appreciating the art of music in a message addressing the ceremony, Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili said, “Music has always been one of the artistic manifestations of societies and nations from the beginning until now and, as effective spiritual rhetoric, it represents the great feelings and spirit of nations… The competency and recognition of our children’s talents in the art of music, backed by the experience of masters and veterans in this field, promises the continuity and growth of music in all parts of Iran”.
Wishing success for the artists, the minister expressed his gratitude towards the masters, judges, and organizers of the 15th National Festival of Young Music.
According to the festival secretary, Houman As’adi, the National Festival of Young Music is one of the most important artistic and musical events in Iran, which aims to discover and identify young talents in various fields of music, including music of different ethnic groups, Iranian classical music, and European classical music. This year, the composing section was also included in the competition list.
About 2,500 works in various fields were sent to the festival secretariat, As’adi said.
