  • Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili in his Tuesday meeting with visiting Syrian Culture Minister Lubanah Mshaweh at Tehran Vahdat Hall reviewed ways for the two countries’ cultural, artistic, media, and joint theatrical and cinematographic cooperation to be expanded, as well as sharing Iranian artists’ experiences with the Syrian side.

  • TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) –Culture ministers of Iran and Syria emphasized need for broadening bilateral cultural and artistic cooperation, including producing joint full feature films, and sharing experiences in various fields by holding culture weeks.

  • The Tehran Symphonic Orchestra will perform the symphonic poem “Alamdar” at Vahdat Hall for five nights from September 5. Bardia Kiaras will conduct the orchestra, which will be accompanied by vocalist Puria Akhavas and a choir of veteran singers. Actor Parviz Parastui, who is also the producer of the program, will do the narration.

  • TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) –The Ashura music-play "Alemdar" narrated by Parviz Perstoi will be performed in Vahdat Hall after two years with a new re-creation.

  • Puppet show "Ashura Opera" written and directed by Behrouz Gharibpour with the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, was staged on Wednesday evening, August 17, at Vahdat Hall.

  • This recitation on the occasion of Muharram, the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions for 10 nights in the first decade of Muharram after the Maghrib and Isha prayers has been prepared by the Tazieh group of Sayyid al-Shuhada led by Ahmad Azizi in front of Vahdat Hall. This event is held with the support and participation of the Roudaki Cultural and Artistic Foundation, the General Directorate of Performing Arts and the Municipality of the Eleventh District of Tehran

  • Omid Nemati, the singer of Pallet, a Tehran-based band that performs a fusion of Iranian and modern Western music, gave a concert at Vahdat Hall on July 24.
