Vahdat Hall

  • A ceremony was held at Vahdat Hall on Sunday to tribute Iranian prominent University Professor Mehdi Mohaghegh. He is the founder and director of the McGill Institute of Islamic Studies Tehran Branch since 1968, where he has collaborated with Toshihiko Izutsu and Herman Landolt on several important projects. Professor Mohaghegh is the author and editor of more than fifty books and over two hundred and ten articles on Persian language and literature, Islamic philosophy and mysticism, and history of Islamic medicine in Persian, Arabic, and English.

  • Tehran. (HONARONLINE)- Iran’s Roudaki Foundation announced on Sunday that it has released the music video “Restless for Balqis” recorded in sympathy with Lebanon on the disastrous blast in Beirut in August.

Mahmoud Vaezi Head of Iran’s Presidential Office, Seyyed Abbas Salehi Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs, Mohammad Javad Haghshenas Members of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Council, Mahdi Afzali, Ahmad Masjed Jameiand, and Hamid Shahabad iwere among the participating guests.

  • The music-theatre play of the "Alamdar" accompanied by Tehran Symphony Orchestra, singing group led by Bardia Kiaras, composed by Pouria Akhvass, directed by Hossein Parsai to be performed in Vahdat Hall. Mehdi Soltani was the Third narrator of the music theater play of "Alamdar".

  • The music-theatre play of the "Alamdar" accompanied by Tehran Symphony Orchestra, singing group led by Bardia Kiaras, composed by Pouria Akhvass, directed by Hossein Parsai to be performed in Vahdat Hall. Hossein Pakdel was the second narrator of the music theater play of "Alamdar".
