TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – Lian, a band from the southern Iranian city of Bushehr, will be giving a performance before the second leg of the 2018 AFC Champions League final between Kashima Antlers of Japan and Iran’s Persepolis in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Saturday evening.
Led by its vocalist and neyanban virtuoso Mohsen Sharifian, the band has been selected by the AFC to perform at the final, the Persian service of ILNA reported on Thursday.
Over 200 guests from other countries will have been invited to watch the match in Azadi Stadium.
Lian is scheduled to feature the rhythmical Bushehri music of southern Iran during the performance.
