Rumi is a celebrated 13th century Persian poet, jurist, scholar and theologian whose influence transcends national borders and ethnic divisions. He died in 1273 in Konya, Turkey.

Titled 'Two Friends', the concert will present pieces by Iranian musician Siamak Kalantari, Honaronline reported.

Kolueh has been inspired by the Persian 'Khanqah' music style, which is focused on Iranian spiritual concepts that perfectly convey the atmosphere of Rumi's world of thoughts.

The title probably is also about the close relationship between Rumi and his master Shams-e Tabrizi. Legend has it that Rumi was transformed into an ascetic after meeting Shams. Reportedly, Kolueh has combined his interpretation of Rumi's poetry with Iranian music styles. All the pieces to be staged are harmonically balanced with the vocal features of the Polish singer to deliver a harmonious performance.

Mohsen Karami and Parham Kabiri are guest vocalist and musician who accompany Ashkan Ahmadi and Sarveh Hassani who recite (declaim) the lyrics.

Hamidreza Tabasi and Negin Mousavi are soloists who perform the pieces along with the orchestra conducted by Siamak Kalantari.

Entry is free for the public. The venue is located at Jolfa St., Shariati Ave.
