Born in 1929 in Kashan, Isfahan Province, he established a translation school in 1969 with the help of his father, Mohammadreza Arbabi added.

He graduated from University of Colorado and had taught at American universities.

He also collaborated with Iraj Aryanpur Kashani to write ‘The Aryanpur Progressive Six-Language Dictionary (Italian, German, French, Spanish, Persian, English),’ ‘The Pocket Persian-English Dictionary,’ and ‘The Combined New Persian-English & English-Persian Dictionary’.

In 1989, he donated all his family belongings and the right of publishing his books to the University of Kashan.
