Un Certain Regard recognizes younger talent and innovative filmmaking.

In this section, Jasmine Trinca won the best actress award for her role in “Lucky” by Sergio Castellitto from Italy, while Taylor Sheridan from the U.S. received the best director award for his film “Wind River”.

“Barbara” by Mathieu Amalric from France was named the Best Poetic Narrative and “April’s Daughter” by Michel Franco from Mexico won the jury prize.
