The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is the largest and most influential short film festival in the world which is hold by Sauve qui peut le court métrage organization.

Every year, thousands of short film enthusiasts and professionals converge to discover new film-making talent, take part in the film market or showcase their film with over 150,000 spectators, 150 films in competition and hundreds more to enjoy.

The collection, which contains 94 shorts films less than 40 minutes, documentaries and animations, is available at the Short Film Market running from February 4 to February10.

"A Basket of Eggs" (Maryam Dusti), "A Window into Life" (Dorri Rezai), "30 Frames in Memory of Abbas Kiarostami" (Negar Eskandarfar), "It Is Night Here" (Peyman Jamshidi), “Kids of Tehran” (Daniel Asadi Faezi) and “Online Shopping” (Qasideh Golmakani) are some of the films offered at the market.

In addition, among 6171 short films, 73 of them were selected and Mostafa Gandomkar's "Alan" is an entry to the international section of the festival running from February 3 to 11, 2017. The film is about a Kurdish man in Syria who has lost his home and family in the ISIS attacks.
