A total of 47 films from 40 countries will be screened in the section.
“Invasion” is about Saman who has been murdered and the police are investigating in a club, the scene of the crime. They have arrested Ali as the murder suspect and are trying to uncover the method used in the murder. However, the case becomes quite complicated and the friends of the murdered person are not very cooperative.
Earlier last week, the festival announced that “Dressage” by Puya Badkubeh and “Hendi & Hormoz” by Abbas Amini, both from Iran, will go on screen in the Generation 14plus competition.
In addition, “Pig” by Iranian director Mani Haqiqi will compete in the official section of the festival, which will be held from February 15 to 25.
