According to the public relations office of IIGFF, so far a large number of artworks from Iran and abroad have been received by the festival secretariat, of which 1,248 pieces belong to Iranians.

A large number of submitted foreign artworks is from China, the US, Mexico, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Ecuador, Poland, South Korea and Russia. After evaluating the artworks, the jury will classify them in different fields of the competition including photography, poster, illustration, cartoon, conceptual art and video art.

Being Iran’s largest environmental cinema event, the 6th edition of the festival is slated for September 9-15 and seeks to recognize, screen and award the best national and international films and visual arts aimed at protecting the environment and natural resources, increasing public awareness and promoting the culture of environmental protection.
