A coffee house painting workshop is holding at the Ravagh Honar until Monday, October 29. The program’s main theme was the epic story of Karabala and the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (AS) on the Day of Ashura. Coffee house painting is an Iranian narrative painting style with epical, religious and festive themes from the early 1900s on the basis of folklore art traditions. It is a special genre of Persian folk art, resembling Persian miniature painting.
