The Damonfar Painting Biennial, which is for artists under 25, has been held in Iran since 14 years ago. Damonfar is the Iranian representative of France’s Pebeo and Conson, and Germany’s Faber-Castell, as well as Windsor and Newton - companies that manufacture art materials. Quilo, the Iranian-German company producing markers, is also collaborating in the biennial. Faber-Castel’s managing director in Iran is Seifollah Pouya Rad. The biennial is held with a focus on painting, but works created with Quilo markers have also been added to the side-section programs.
