The first visual art exhibition from Afghanistan, titled Nimrouz, is underway at Niavaran Cultural Complex. Ali Moradkhani and representatives from Iran, Afghanistan and international organizations attended the opening ceremony in Gallery No. 1.
Payvar music group has given a live stage performance at the Persian Gulf Hall of Niavaran Cultural Complex. Master Mohammad Esmaeili played tonbak (drum) during the one-off event. Veteran actor Mohammad Ali Keshavarz was in attendance.
Navaye Melal (music of nations) group performed an international concert on Friday at Niavaran Cultural Complex. Minstrels from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran performed at this one-off concert.
An art collection by Iranian luminaries, entitled The Epiphany Frame, is on view at the Niavaran Cultural Complex. The event has been organized by the Chehrehaye Mandegar Monthly Magazine and the Afarinesh Art Foundation of Niavaran.
