Tehran’s Keshavarz Blvd is hosting a Nowruz fair every evening until Saturday in which you can watch festive programs like painting and caricature exhibitions, music concerts, and street performances. Literally meaning “new day,” Nowruz is the ancient Persian New Year festival celebrated by over 300 million people around the world, including the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and parts of eastern Europe.
