The director of the foundation, Gholamali Haddad-Adel, and his assistant, Seyyed Mohammadreza Darbandi, gave an explanation about the plan, the foundation announced.

Haddad-Adel said that he believes the political and economic growth of a country is indebted to teaching the language of that country around the globe.

“Teaching the language of a country will lead to the cultural and economic development of that country,” he said.

“Today, there has been a meaningful relationship between the national power and the existence of one language across the borders, and this is true about Iran, too” he said.

“Today, the Persian language is being taught around the world in 400 universities with about 10,000 students. While a number of Persian language classes are being held over weekends in schools in Australia, Canada, the United States and several European countries,” he remarked.

He added that the foundation has 22 teaching packages to complete all of which will be useful for the non-native Persian language learners.

Darbandi next gave an explanation about the plan and said, “Based on this plan we have divided the world into 10 parts considering the facilities and needs for learning the Persian language.

“Moreover, we have established 10 professional councils, each with 12 individuals including the ambassadors, cultural attaches and Persian language scholars and experts, who will cooperate to compile the programs for the next five years,” he explained.
