"Bench Cinema" and "A House on 41st Street" are the two Iranian films which will screen during the 30th edition of the International Forum of New Cinema along with 30 other films from 25 countries in Kolkata, India from March 27 to April 2.

"Bench Cinema" directed by Mohammad Rahmanian  is about a man names Nasi spends months after release from prison, watching the films and memorizes all the lines. He then travels around to perform the films as a one man.

"A House on 41st Street" by Hamidreza Qorbani will show during the event.

The International Forum of New Cinema was established in the wake of the upheaval in May 1968 as a counter-event to the Berlin Film Festival. In 1970 it became a part of the Berlinale.
