MOTELX - Lisbon International Horror Film Festival, headed into its 16th edition, promotes the best of horror produced worldwide while also encouraging the national production of genre films. Also, the Festival will be held from September 6 to 12 in Lisbon, Portugal.
According to the timetable of programs released on MOTELX website, “Zalava” will be screened on September 11. Moreover, the Iranian film, which won Crystal Simorgh at the different sections of Fajr Film Festival 2021, will be screened at the 40th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in Belgium and 13th The London Kurdish Film Festival as well.
Navid Pourfaraj, Pouria Rahimi Sam and Hoda Zeinolabedin are among the cast members of Zalava.
Regarding the plot summary, “Investigating reports of demonic possessions in a remote village, a skeptical military officer finds his beliefs tested by an enigmatic exorcist”.
