Ali-Asghar Shalbafian made the statement in a meeting with tourism officials on Wednesday, adding that arrangements were made with provincial officials to hold a better exhibition this year, IRNA reported.

Unlike previous editions, university students, who are studying tourism and related fields, can visit this edition, Shalbafian noted.

The 15th tourism exhibition will be held along with the 35th National Handicrafts Exhibition, simultaneously, in an initiative to boost synergy among the two sectors, the official added.

One of the important points of this exhibition is that it will host global and national cities and villages of handicrafts.

Speaking about the programs of different provinces, Shalbafian said that Fars Province will unveil five invaluable handicrafts of the province in this exhibition.

The exhibition will be held from January 29 to February 1 in the Tehran International Exhibition Center.
