Iranian feature film “The Sun of That Moon” directed by Setareh Eskandari will be screened at the 52nd International Film Festival of India in Goa.

In its first international presence, “The Sun of That Moon” will take part at the World Panorama section of the event.

The 52nd International Film Festival of India will open on 20 November with The King of All the World by Carlos Saura and close on 28 November 2021 in Goa.

The synopsis of “The Sun of That Moon” reads, “In the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, a Baloch widow named Beeban decides to keep silent and not to speak anymore. She lives in her father-in-law’s house with her son, Miran. When her childhood playmate, Hamraz, returns home, once again they begin feeling in the mood for love. But everyone tries to force her to forget all about this forbidden love”.

The cast includes Nazanin Farahani, Pejman Bazeghi, Amir Hossein Hashemi, Eshagh Balouch Nasab, Sadegh Balouchi.
