Ahad Javedani, director general of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Tehran, took part in the opening ceremony, the department reported.

The word Mehr refers to the first month of autumn in the Persian calendar and means love and kindness.

Najafi-Asadollahi, who is also participating in the exhibition with his abstract expressionist paintings, said that this exhibition is the third seasonal show this year, and he will continue with exhibitions on the themes of winter and spring.

The exhibition is being held in both online and in-person formats, Najafi-Asadollahi said, adding that the participants’ profiles are available on the gallery’s website.

A total number of 30 works by Najafi-Asadollahi, Saeedeh Aryan, Elnaz Ebrahimi, Soheila Ostad-Mohammadi, Akram Afzali, Sima Amirsardari, Setareh Javanbakht-Dalir, Abolhassan Riazi, Farahnaz Karimi-Tabesh, Sepideh Majdkian, Reza Mir-Shafei, and Hassan Norouznia are on display.

The exhibition’s Media Consultant Maryam Vahidnia is of the opinion that cultural reports from these events brings joy to the society and causes culture and art to flourish.
