With the cooperation of the Iranian Embassy in Japan, the book was published by Al-Hoda Institute of Culture and Art and International Publications, which is affiliated with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

This book is 335 pages, in four chapters, and includes the relationship between the two great countries of Iran and Japan in the fields of cinema, film screening, participation in festivals, and making joint films.

The book is a valuable collection about the cinema industry of both countries and a comprehensive history of cinematic and international interactions between the two countries.

Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Japan Hossein Divsalar stated that previously, a book titled, ‘Japanese Studies in Iran,’ written by Mohammad Naqizadeh, a university professor and prominent Japanese scholar, along with Zakeri, was published in collaboration with Al-Hoda.

In the end, Divasalar expressed hope that ‘Iran and Japan Cinema’ could help us use cinema as a tool to have better relations between the two countries.
