Speaking to IRNA, Rahim Hobnaqi said the journal from Urmia University has saved its Q1 ranking.
He added that IJLTR, with 0.614 impact factor, is standing in first position among 134 journals.
Three other Iranian journals, named Journal of Research in Applied Linguistics, Language Related Research and Physiology and Pharmacology are ranking third to fifth, respectively.
Recently, Urmia University has attended CWTS Leiden Ranking along with 35 other universities and institutions of the country.
According to its official website, “The Scimago Journal & Country Rank is a publicly available portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus database (Elsevier).”
“These indicators can be used to assess and analyze scientific domains. Journals can be compared or analyzed separately.”
