Illustrated by Sedaqat Jabbari, who is a calligrapher and graphic designer, the unveiling ceremony was attended by Visual Arts Office director, Hadi Mozaffari, and a number of other cultural figures, according to IRNA.

The secretary of the festival Mohammad-Hossein Esmaili said that the event focuses on discovering talented young people under age 25, and women calligraphers who will participate in a special section of the event.

He added that the Iranian Academy of the Arts will contribute to this edition of the biennial and adds to the festival’s quality through holding conferences on Iranian artist and calligrapher Mirza Mohammad Hussein Seifi Qazvini.

The sixth national biennial of Iranian calligraphy will be held in October and November in the city of Qazvin, which is the capital of the northwestern province of Qazvin, as the capital of Iranian calligraphy.
