Barzan Rostami’s short film grabbed the Best Video Animation Award at the 31st edition of the Spanish festival, also known as the International Mountain, Nature and Adventure Photo and Video Contest, ifilmtv.com wrote.

The seven-minute film is about understanding and perception of wildlife and environmental abuse, as well as its consequences on humans.

‘Echo’ has already been shown at a number of global events, including the Smaragdni Eco Film Festival in Croatia, the RED International Film Festival in Norway, the Snake Alley Festival of Film in the US, and the International Tour Film Festival in Italy.

The film’s screening at the Southern Cone International Film Festival in Mexico brought it the Best Short Film Award. It also grabbed a Special Jury Prize at the Polish Wlodzimiers Puchalski International Nature Film Festival.

The Pink City International Short Film Festival in India bestowed its Best Sound Designing Award upon the film’s sound engineer Hossein Qorchian.
