Written and directed by Mehrshad Ranjbar, the 12-minute short film tells the story of an old woman who has kept her sick husband for many years, but an incident disturbs the order of her life.

The cast of the short includes Maryam Nourafkan and Abbas Jalallou.

The festival screened 15 works carefully selected by the executive committee from a total of 372 entries and special screenings.

 This edition of the event was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic in Kyoto From 26 Feburary until 5 March.

The movie was also named the best student film at the 18th Tirana International Film Festival in Albania, the Best Film Award at the Hungarian Falloody Festival, the Best Editing and Best Cinematography Award at the Italian Kivaso Film Festival.

Kyoto International Student Film & Video Festival is the largest international student film festival in Japan, all is organized and run by university students in Kyoto. It will show students’ works from all over the world and provide opportunities to discover new talents.The festival is held in Kyoto every fall. Students run everything from planning to public relations.
