Organized by Iran’s Cultural Center in Tokyo, the virtual meeting is in line with specialized meetings of Iran’s Embassy in Japan aiming at introducing Iranian-Islamic arts and culture.

In the online workshop, Hisako Tsunoda, a prominent Japanese artist who has worked in the field of Iranian calligraphy for about 30 years will present lecture.

In addition to introducing the art of Iranian calligraphy, the experiences, works and activities of Tsunada will be presented.

In 2007, Tsunoda held an exhibition featuring 30 Persian calligraphy works at the Ancient Orient Museum in Tokyo.
