Hamid Reza Glichkhani, an Iranian Calligrapher and researcher, said the book “Persian Naskh of Masters” represents Naskh script from the early Safavieh to Qajar period.

“We know that Naskh script backs to tree thousand years ago and the one who organized it was Ebn Moghle Shirazi and was developed by Ebn Bavab Yagout Mostagsmi. Today, many other countries such as Iraq, Syria, and Turkey use the Mostasmi script and call it Yagouti.” Glichkhani said.

In Iran, calligraphy forms by Ahmad Neyrizi who organized the Persian Naskh in the eleventh century AH: “this stream was at the time of Safaviehand growth of Shia in Iran so we can compare Persian script with the development of Shia in Iran. Many use after this script Ahmad Neyrizi.”

"This book was supposed to be published 10 years ago as “ Naskh Masters of Tehran” which could represent the art of the Qajar period. Then we generalized the research on this subject and this book was written which encompasses the history of Naskh from Ahmad Neyrizi to the early Pahlavi period. The book includes images of artists which was really difficult to gather, from the libraries and museums." He said.

“Recently, a book on literary and artistic relations of Iran and India between 1400-1700 BC was published in University of Indiana under the supervision of Dr. Kelian Everton and I have written an article about it to”, he added.
