He won the award for best film editor at the 64th edition of the German Film Awards for George Maas’s thriller Two Lives.
A number of world-renowned filmmakers have also been invited to hold workshops at the festival, which will be held in Tehran from April 18 to 26.
Among the cineastes are Italian cinematographer Luca Bigazzi and his fellow filmmaker Andrea Pallaoro.
In addition, German production designer Silke Buhr and Spanish film producer Rosa Bosch will also conduct workshops at the event.
